Able Rescue · $199

Emergency remote Linux / production help. Up to two hours with a senior engineer on the host. Not a retainer. Not a ticket bot. Email or call first — I jump on any time of day or night. You pay the $199 in parallel as we start; buy more time after the first two hours if you need it.

When production is down, you want a human on the box

The last thing you want is a chatbot asking you to restart Apache. Able Rescue is two hours of me on your host — Linux, Windows, AWS, Kubernetes, mail, VoIP, app stacks. Anytime — day or night. Houston.

I have done this work for years: cPanel/WHM mail, dead Apache, MySQL that will not start, certs that expired on a Friday, boxes that were sending spam, billing systems that were leaking money. If I cannot help in that window I will say so instead of burning the clock.

This is for

  • The site, mail, or app is actually down
  • SSL/TLS is broken (cert, chain, auto-renew)
  • Linux / cPanel / Apache / nginx / MySQL / mail
  • AWS, Kubernetes, Windows, VoIP, or the glue between them
  • You can give SSH, RDP, or a control-panel login

This is not

  • A monthly retainer (that is Able Retainer)
  • 24/7 on-call with a 15-minute SLA
  • A rewrite of your product
  • A promise I can fix anything in two hours
  • A helpdesk queue that opens at 9am

How Able Rescue works

  1. Email greg@ableadmins.com or call (832) 977-1356 first. Tell me what is broken, since when, the host, and how I get in (SSH user, panel, VPN, jump host).
  2. I jump on any time of day or night — Rescue is not limited to business hours.
  3. Pay the $199 Stripe link in parallel while we start. That covers up to two hours of senior time on the box; payment is not a gate before you can contact me.
  4. You get a short write-up of what I found and what I changed. Need more than two hours? Purchase additional time — Rescue does not quietly turn into a blank check.

What I actually do in that window

Stabilize first. Then find the cause. Typical Rescue work: Apache/nginx down, MySQL crashed or locked, disk full, mail queue on fire, Let’s Encrypt/chain mess, a botched deploy, a host that was compromised enough to stop production. I do not invent a war-room process. I work the box.

If you already know this is a month of platform work, skip Rescue and look at the retainer. If you want someone watching before the next fire, that is Able Watch (soft watch — a human, not a dashboard farm).

When production is down — who this page is for

You searched for emergency Linux help, remote production rescue, or “server is down and I need a human.” This is that SKU. Able Rescue is built for the moment the site, mail, API, or billing box is actually broken — not for a sales call, not for a VA brochure, not for a ticket that sits until Monday.

Common cold searches that should land here: Linux server down, production outage, Apache/nginx/MySQL dead, cPanel mail on fire, expired SSL stopping checkouts, AWS/K8s host that will not come back. Email or call first with how I get in; pay $199 on Stripe in parallel as I get on the box — anytime, day or night.

Need a public HTTPS URL for something on your laptop instead? That is Able Tunnel (ngrok alternative). Desk/rack gear we actually use: Shop. All SKUs: Offers.

Able Rescue is a two-hour incident, not a subscription. Contact first; pay in parallel; buy more time after two hours if needed. No fake client counters. Questions: contact.
